The weather isn't good enough for Sechelt, but is supposed to be dry on Saturday. Instead we'll head to Tsawassen. This is the last weekend we can take the shuttle Lunch is at the Rose and Crown pub. While we're waiting for the shuttle to go back home, we can have delicious pie at the Delta Town and Country inn. Route map Distance: 80 km return. Meet: JJ's Coffee, 6th and Commercial. Leave at 9:30 sharp. The only time we have to hurry on this ride is to make the 11 o'clock shuttle. (It's 22 km, so it should be no problem) Slower riders are welcome, but if you think this doesn't give you enough time to get to the shuttle, you could meet the group at the shuttle pickup point. http://www.siforce.net/bike/tsawassen1/

We had to change plans several times due to the iffy weather, finally we went back to the original route. We took the Adenac/Francis bike route to the Barnet Highway into Port Moody. Then Guildford Way and Prairie to the Coast Meridian Overpass and Mary Hill Bypass to the Pitt River Bridge. On the other side it's Harris Rd to the restaurant, unfortunately we could not find the restaurant, however the Golden Ear Pub was nearby, so we went there instead of. Return was via Pitt Airport to the bridge, then Mary Hill to United Blvd and Braid Skytrain Station. From there take 7/11 or Greenway home or take the Skytrain. Route map. Distance: 40 km to the restaurant, 25 back to Braid station and 20 to Vancouver. Meet: JJ's Coffee, 6th and Commercial at 9:30. http://www.siforce.net/bike/pittmeadow/

The ride: From the Swartz Bay ferry terminal, we will loop around the north side of the Saanich Peninsula, riding mostly on rural roads and a little bit on bike trails (Galloping Goose and Lochside Trail).Note that lunch is at km 48 (Med Grill) so plan accordingly by bringing enough water and snacks. In 2010 September 5th, we went to Victoria, It was a sunny day, we had rider forgot his biking shoes, so we had to stop by a bike shop to get a new set of paddles to he can ride, we got lost a few times, otherwise it was a beautiful day, and of course we raced to the ferry terminal to catch the earlier ferry..link
